29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Strain relief. Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) 101 South George Street New Emergency Room York Hospital - The energized flexible cord that powered the Dewalt chop saw did not have an effective strain relief to prevent pull on the terminal screws, thereby exposing employees to the hazards of electrical shock, on or about October 22, 2015. No abatement certification or documentation required.
