29 CFR 1926.502(b)(1): The top edge height of the top rails, or equivalent guardrail system members, was not 42 inches (1.1 m) plus or minus 3 inches (8 cm) above the walking/working level. (a) San Diego Naval Base, Bldg. VQ 3362: The height of the top rail was not erected to prevent exceeding the maximum height of 45 inches above the working roof surface. The rail was erected about 50 inches from the roof surface, exposing employees to possible fall between the mid and top rails to the lower level.
