29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of �1926.502(k) developed and implemented: 9003 N 171st St, Omaha, NE 68122 (Job-site): The employer failed to ensure that adequate fall protection was provided for an employee who was working on the roof of a home applying caulk which was approximately 14 feet from a lower level. Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: 9003 N 171st St, Omaha, NE 68122 (Job-site): The employer failed to ensure to have a training program to ensure that employees minimized hazards when exposed to fall hazards and that employees knew to use adequate fall protection when they were performing residential work on the roof of a house. An employee was working on the roof of a home applying caulk without fall protection which was approximately 14 feet from a lower level. Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed.
