29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: In the Large Diaphragm Department on the AL 800 Crimping Machine, Serial 10000354: The employer is failing to ensure that employees are protected from amputation hazards created by the crimping rollers in the machine. On or about September 29, 2015 an employee was injured when the diaphragm being rolled became jammed causing the piece to pull the employee's fingers into the roller.
