29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59). (a) On or about 11/3/2015, an employee of Crawford Drywall Inc. was using drywall mud (eye, skin, respiratory irritant) while working on the Emergency Room Renovation Project at the Mountain Home TN VA Medical Center and the employer did not maintain a copy of their written hazard communication plan at the work site. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET). Crawford Drywall Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.1200(e)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 946407, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on (12/24/2013), with respect to a workplace located at VA Medical Center, Lamont St & Veterans Way, Mountain Home, TN 37684.
