OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish the employees employment and a place of employment which were free from hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to amputation hazards:    a)OPEX Corporation - Woodshop Department located at 305 Commerce Drive, Moorestown NJ:  On or about October 29, 2015, the employer failed to provide with one or more emergency stop devices on the Vertical Milling Machine Model #2275291, Serial #047333 to ensure employees were protected from amputation hazards.    Abatement method:  Employer may follow instructions included in the American National Standard Institute ANSI B11.8-2001 - Safety Requirements for Manual Mill, Drilling and Boring Machines with or without Automatic Control, Section 6.12.3 Emergency Stop and section 6.14.4 Emergency stop devices.

Employees conducting quality control related operations had machinery or equipment energized to accomplish the quality test.  An employee was exposed to in-going nip points while performing quality control testing on machines fabricated by the employer, occurred on or about 10/19/2015.
