OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish the employees employment and a place of employment which were free from hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to amputation hazards: a)OPEX Corporation - Woodshop Department located at 305 Commerce Drive, Moorestown NJ: On or about October 29, 2015, the employer failed to provide with one or more emergency stop devices on the Vertical Milling Machine Model #2275291, Serial #047333 to ensure employees were protected from amputation hazards. Abatement method: Employer may follow instructions included in the American National Standard Institute ANSI B11.8-2001 - Safety Requirements for Manual Mill, Drilling and Boring Machines with or without Automatic Control, Section 6.12.3 Emergency Stop and section 6.14.4 Emergency stop devices.
