OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that a safety latch on an overhead crane was not serviceable, exposing employees to a crushing or struck-by hazard:    a) C-bay  #6 overhead crane: On November 11, 2015 and at times prior thereto the safety latches on the duplex hook  on the 50T Shaw-box were damaged and sprung away from the hooks. 29 CFR 1910.179(b)(5): When a crane has more than one hoisting unit, each hoist did not have its rated load marked on it or its load block and this marking was not clearly legible from the ground or floor:  a) E-bay, #11 overhead crane: On November 3, 2015 and at times prior thereto the applicable rated load markings were not in place on either the main 15 ton hoist or the auxiliary 5 ton hoist load blocks on the Shawbox 15 ton crane.
