OSH ACT of 1970 SECTION (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and  a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards:  Employees working under the automotive lift located at the far end of the service bay at Bogner Chevrolet, 621 North 7th St, Kiowa, KS were exposing to crushing hazards, in that a hydraulic cylinder automotive lift was in use with no safety stops installed.   Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is  to: 1.Ensure that safety stops are installed in accordance with ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2006 Standard for Automotive Lifts - Safety Requirements for Construction, Testing and Validation, Section 9 paragraph 2.11
