29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v)), on all open sides:  a.  4541 Thurman Road, Conley, GA (Upper Mezzanine Storage Area) - Employees were exposed to fall hazard.  The employees are required to access the upper level mezzanine storage area to retrieved shipping boxes and other materials.  The mezzanine area was not equipped with the standard guardrails along the open-sides of the storage area, exposing employees to a fall of 8'8" to lower level, on or about 11/05/15.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  a. 4541 Thurman Road, Conley, GA (Shop Area) - Employees were exposed to chemical hazard. The employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program where employees were exposed to hazardous chemicals on the jobsite. Employees are using chemicals and solvent to clean transmission parts.  The cleaning parts solvents/chemicals includes, but is not limited to, aluminum cleaner, mineral spirits and alkaline degreaser on which employees are utilizing on a daily basis while cleaning the transmission parts, on or about 11/05/15.

Employees were transferring chemicals such as, mineral spirits from a 55-gallong drum container into a 25-30 gallon drum container without having the transferred container labeled as to its content, on or about 11/05/15.

Employees were not provided with training and information on the types of hazardous chemicals used in the work place such as, but not limited to, aluminum cleaner, mineral spirits, diesel fuel, alkaline degreaser and shell spirax S3 transmission oil which employees used on a daily basis while cleaning the transmission parts, on or about 11/05/15.
