29 CFR 1926.501(c)(3): The employer did not barricade the area to which objects could fall, did not prohibit employees from entering the barricaded area, and did not keep objects that could fall far enough away from the edge of a higher level so that those objects would not go over the edge if they were accidentally displaced: JOBSITE: The work barricade consisting of yellow caution tape and orange cones on the north side of the building encompassing the main construction entrance/exit was not adequate and did not prohibit employees from entering and working in the barricaded area while overhead roofing work was ongoing exposing employees on the ground to falling objects. On or about 11/2/15, an employee working within the barricaded area was struck by a falling leaf blower while working underneath overhead roofing work.
