29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Note: If the employer could demonstrate that it was infeasible or created a greater hazard to use these systems, a fall protection plan meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502 should have been developed and implemented. The employer did not develop and implemented a fall protection plan which met the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502 to protect employees from falling into the interior of the building while conducting sheeting operations. The plan did not required the use of a safety monitoring system to be used where guardrail systems, safety net systems, and/or personal fall arrest systems could not be used.
