OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):    Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:   The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employee(s) in that employee(s) were exposed to the hazard of being struck-by:    a/  Inside of Storage Area #1, employee(s) were exposed to a struck-by hazard due to a possible unplanned collapse of three sets of metal, shelving units.  The shelving unit to the north was six tiers high.  The shelving unit to the west was three tiers high. The shelving unit to the south was five tiers high.  Alll three shelving units were not anchored.    One method of abatement to correct this apparent hazard is to bolt or otherwise secure each shelving unit to the concrete floor as required by ANSI MH16.1-2012, paragraph 1.4.7. Elite Tool LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 191149, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/03/12, with respect to a workplace located at 1011 Industrial Drive, Moscow Mills, MO 63362.
