29 CFR 1910.106(b)(6): Precautions were not taken to prevent ignition by eliminating or controlling sources of ignition. Sources of ignition include; open flames, lightning, smoking, cutting and welding, hot surfaces, frictional heat, sparks (static, electrical, and mechanical), spontaneous ignition, chemical and physical-chemical reactions, and radiant heat:    On or about July 27, 2015, at the Derrick Truck Stop in Greenwood, LA; the employer did not take adequate precautions to prevent the ignition of flammable vapors or overexposure to hazardous substances while the employees were drying out gasoline tankers.

29 CFR 1910.307(c)(2): 29 CFR 1910.307(c)(2): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not safe for the hazardous (classified location), nor approved for the hazardous (classified) location or the ignitable or combustible properties of the specific gas, vapor, dust or fiber that was present:  On or about July 27, 2015, at the Derrick Truck Stop in Greenwood, LA; the employer allowed employee(s) to use an air blower (SuperZoom Blower, Model HL-7) that was not approved for hazardous locations to dry out gasoline tankers containing flammable vapors.
