Location: Worksite Employees were using two gas-powered trowels inside an enclosed basement without natural or forced ventilation and were exposed to an 8 Hour Time-Weighted Average concentration of carbon monoxide in excess of 50 ppm. An employee was exposed to an 8-HourTime-Weighted Average carbon monoxide concentration was 68 ppm.

29 CFR 1910.1000(e): Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not determined and implemented to achieve compliance with the limits prescribed in 29 CFR 1910.1000(a) through (d): Location: Worksite Employees were operating two gas-powered trowels inside an enclosed basement without using administrative or engineering controls, such as forced ventilation, the substitution of a trowel powered by electric instead of gas energy, and/or the use of a carbon monoxide meter, and they were exposed to an 8 Hour Time-Weighted Average carbon monoxide concentration in excess of 50 ppm. An employee was exposed to an 8-HourTime-Weighted Average carbon monoxide concentration of 68 ppm.
