29 CFR 1910.106(e)(9)(iii): Combustible waste material and residues in a building or unit operating area were not kept to a minimum, stored in covered metal receptacles and disposed of daily: a) Body Shop - On or about 12/11/2015, cloth rags permeated with paint thinner and other flammable a combustible liquids were stored in covered metal containers but were disposed of weekly and not daily as required. b) Main Shop, Managers Office - On or about 12/11/2015, cloth rags permeated with gasoline and combustible liquids were stored in covered metal containers but were disposed of weekly and not daily as required. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly: a) Column 4 - On or about 11/16/2015, a portable fire extinguisher provided in a vehicle repair facility had not been visually inspected monthly since 08/16/2015. b) Column 8 - On or about 11/16/2015, a portable fire extinguisher provided in a vehicle repair facility had not been visually inspected monthly since 05/15/2015. c) Column 9 - On or about 11/16/2015, a portable fire extinguisher provided in a vehicle repair facility hand not been visually inspected monthly since 09/15/2015. d) Body Shop - On or about 11/16/2015, a portable fire extinguishers provided in a vehicle repair facility had not been visually inspected monthly and had not been provided with a tag or other record which could identify the last date of monthly inspection. e) Gas Island - On or about 11/16/2015, two portable fire extinguishers provided in a vehicle repair facility were not visually inspected monthly. f) Battery Charging Area On or about 11/16/2015, a portable fire extinguisher provided in a vehicle repair facility had not been visually inspected monthly since 09/15/2015 and 05/14/2015. g) Parking Lot - On or about 11/16/2015, a portable fire extinguisher provided in a vehicle repair facility had not been visually inspected monthly since 09/15/2015. No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
