On or about November 19, 2015 at worksite 8016 NE 100th Street in Kansas City, Missouri- Employee was using a pneumatic nail gun to secure wood to the frame of a house without having any means of eye or face protective equipment.   Abatement certification for this item is not required.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   On or about November 19, 2015 at worksite 8016 NE 100th Street in Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were performing leading edge work at an elevated height on a flat roof without any means of fall protection by way of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   Abatement certification for this item is not required.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):   Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladders length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   On or about November 19, 2015 at worksite 8016 NE 100th Street in Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were accessing a working surface on a flat roof by way of a portable ladder whose side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface being accessed.     Abatement certification for this item is not required
