29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6:  Two (2) acetylene cylinders and one (1) argon cylinder, located outside the main office below the posting board, were not secured or supported to prevent them from being knocked over.

29 CFR 1910.107(b)(5)(i): There were no visible gauges, audible alarms or pressure activated devices installed in paint spray booths to indicate or ensure that the required air speed was maintained.  Booth used for spray painting was not equipped with a manometer or visible gauge to indicate the condition of the booth air filters to allow for proper air flow. Spray booth air filters appeared to be heavily coated with paint residue.

A respirator cartridge change schedule had not been developed and implemented for the half-mask respirator worn by an employee engaged in spray painting. The organic vapor cartridges for the respirator used by the employee had not been changed in approximately seven (7) years.
