29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. 6290 NJ-35, South Amboy, NJ - Black Betty's Saloon & Go-Go Employees were not protected from falls from an unprotected edge greater than 6-feet above the next lower level. Employees engaged in the exterior painting of a commercial building were observed working from the eves of first story roof and were not protected from falls by use of a personal fall arrest system. Violation observed on or about November 20, 2015
