29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): a) Upholstery Dept.: Employees are engaged in manufacturing sofa beds, cut and glue foams to the wood using adhesives containing hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, acetone, heptanes, pentanes, n-butane and propane blend, and methyl acetate during the process. The employer did not develop and implement a worksite specific written hazard communication program, on or about11/25/15.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): a) Upholstery Dept,: The safety data sheets for spot cleaning, Everblum Gold cleaning fluid, Alba Clean spot removal, Ram-Tack spray adhesive, Castle Big 5 heavy duty silicon lubricant, and Master Quick Drying all-purpose cement were not readily accessible to the employees during work shifts, on or about 11/25/15.
