29 CFR 1910.1000(c): An employee was exposed to respirable crystalline silica in excess of the calculated 8-hour time weighted average limit of .4 mg/m3 listed in Table Z-3: Shop: On December 10, 2015, a worker grinding and polishing granite was exposed to an 8 hour time weighted average level of 3.85 mg/m3 respirable silica dust in excess of the 0.4 mg/m3 calculated permissible exposure limit(PEL). Sampling time was 420 minutes. Zero exposure was assumed for a total of 8 hours.
