29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition. Above the CNC machine room of the facility the employer is failing to protect employees from an explosive hazard in that the room containing the CNC machine was configured in such a way as to allow for accumulation of dust. The room was equipped with a drop ceiling that allowed accumulation of combustible above the ceiling tiles.

29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: In the CNC room the employer is failing to protect employees from explosive and fire hazards in that the wiring installed in the CNC room was not of a class and division for a combustible dust environment.
