29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: a) The saw operator was exposed to noise levels at 175.9% of the action level dose (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 decibels) or an equivalent sound level of 94.0 dBA during 346 minute sampling period on April 21, 2016. The employee could be exposed to noise induced hearing loss. b) The saw operator was exposed to noise levels at 117.5% of the action level dose (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 decibels) or an equivalent sound level of 91.1 dBA during 348 minute sampling period on April 21, 2016. The employee could be exposed to noise induced hearing loss. c) The builder was exposed to noise levels at 81.5% of the action level dose (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 decibels) or an equivalent sound level of 88.5 dBA during 351 minute sampling period on April 21, 2016. The employee could be exposed to noise induced hearing loss. d) The builder was exposed to noise levels at 86.06% of the action level dose (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 decibels) or an equivalent sound level of 88.9 dBA during 350 minute sampling period on April 21, 2016. The employee could be exposed to noise induced hearing loss. e) The builder was exposed to noise levels at 66.86% of the action level dose (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 decibels) or an equivalent sound level of 87.1 dBA during 355 minute sampling period on April 21, 2016. The employee could be exposed to noise induced hearing loss.
