29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 519 & 521 Stirling Avenue, Lakewood NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards up to approximately and in excess of 20 feet to the ground surface below, when performing framing and other related activities at the unprotected edges of a residential structure's second floor. These company employees had not received fall hazard recognition training from the company nor received instructions on the procedures to follow to minimize fall hazards at the time of the worksite inspection. Condition noted on or about 12/07/15. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not develop an accident prevention program, that provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment, to be made by competent persons designated by the employer. a) 519 & 521 Stirling Avenue, Lakewood NJ: A competent person did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite. Employees on this site were exposed to hazards including, but not limited to fall hazards. Observed on or about 12/07/15. A & B Builders Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1082952, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/14/15, with respect to a workplace located at 58 Liverpool Way, Block 404.28 - Lot 6, Medford NJ. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
