29 CFR 1926.351(e): Arc welding or cutting operation(s) were not shielded by noncombustible or flame proof screens to protect employees and other persons working in the vicinity from the direct rays of the arc: a. 3051 Kumho Parkway, MACON, GA (Curing building pit area) - Adjacent employees were exposed to being struck by flying welding sparks and a thermal heat hazard. The hand welder was performing welding work in an open space without a barrier to prevent the flying sparks, slag and/or molten pieces from coming in contact with employees who access the area, on or about 11/19/2015.
