29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system. (a) Date of Violation: On or about 12-09-2015 and times prior thereto located on top of Building 146 Hampton VA Medical Center, 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton, VA 23667, employees were exposed to falls from heights approximately 15 feet, 4 inches above the ground level below without any type of fall protection system, fall restraint system, net, guardrails, or any combination thereof. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
