29 CFR 1910.106(e)(9)(iii): Combustible waste material and residues in a building or unit operating area were not kept to a minimum, stored in covered metal receptacles and disposed of daily: (a) On or about December 9, 2015, the employer exposed employees to fire hazards in that the covered metal receptacle containing hazardous materials, were not disposed of on a daily basis. (b) On or about December 9, 2015, the employer exposed employees to fire hazards in that the oily rags were kept in a plastic bag rather than a covered metal receptacle. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
