29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) On or about December 9, 2015, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, while handling and storing used automotive batteries. Nearest eye wash station was 80 to 100 feet away, with obstacles on the way. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1910.305(j)(1)(i): Fixtures, lampholders, lamps, rosettes, and receptacles located within 8 feet of the floor had live parts exposed to employee contact: (a) On or about December 9, 2015, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that receptacles located within 8 feet of the floor did not have live parts exposed to employee contact. Employees were exposed to contact with electrical hazards, in that covers were missing in two live receptacles located on both sides of bay #2 of the automotive shop. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
