29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Employees engaged in the framing of a third floor, without the proper fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards of over 19 feet to the ground below where: a) West facing edge: guardrails were missing, exposing employees to a fall of approximately nineteen (19) feet to the ground below. b) North, South, East edges: the guardrail was missing a mid-rail, exposing employees to falls of approximately nineteen (19) feet to the ground below. c) North, South, East edges: the guardrail system was not designed to withstand a force of 200 lbs applied to it, exposing employees to falls of approximately nineteen (19) feet to the ground below.
