OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and  a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards:  On or about December 09, 2015 the employer failed to develop and implement procedures to safely dress the grinding wheels on the finish grinders: to include but not limited to the SMTW Model H147 S/N 23 Finish Grinder.    Among other methods, some feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard may include, but are not limited to the following:        1. Develop, implement and enforce procedures that ensure the dressing wheels are not held in the hands of employees while performing the grinding wheel dressing process.         2. Perform a Risk assessment of the grinder operations as indicated in Paragraph 5 and E5 of ANSI B11.9 - 2010 (Safety Requirements for Grinding Machines) paying particular attention to the following hazards and/or operations: inadvertent contact with a rotating abrasive product and dressing and/or conditioning of abrasive product.          3. Ensure that the dresser is supported as indicated in Paragraph 9.11 and E9.11 of ANSI B7.1 - 2010 (Safety Requirements for Use, Care and Protection of Abrasive Wheels).
