OSH ACT of 1970 SECTION (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  On or about December 10, 2015, at the location of 665 N. Ridge Road in Wichita, Kansas, employee(s) engaged in stocking activities with the use of a 4 foot A-Frame ladder (Werner 6004 4 ft Type I Fiberglass Step Ladder) were exposed to fall hazards in that the employer did not ensure training was understood and enforce the proper ladder selection for the task.  AMONG OTHER METHODS, ACCEPTABLE METHODS TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS:  Provide the employees knowledge, training, and enforcement of standards, for using a step ladder as described in ANSI A14.5-1992 paragraphs 9.1.5 General, 9.2.1.3.2 Stepladders, 9.3.2 Climbing and Working Locations, 9.3.7 Climbing Ladders, and from Werner Fiberglass Ladder Technical Manual, Page 15 Climbing Ladders and Climbing Working Locations.
