OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to chemical burns of the eyes and skin from corrosive liquids: a) Throughout the Farm, on or about 12/21/2015: Employees were dispensing and using corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to Formaldehyde, Dairy Cycle-3, Dairy M.S.R. 50, Crimson Chlor (Sodium Hypochlorite Solution) while performing cleaning operations and replenishing foot bath. Employees are exposed to splash hazards and are not provided with an eye wash, face protection and appropriate hand protection.
