29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed: (a) 38 Kline Village, Harrisburg Pennsylvania - An employee straddled a step ladder to complete work. The employer did not insure that employees used the step ladder in a manner in which they were designed, on or about December 17, 2015. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The employer did not ensure that adequate training was provided to employees on the use of ladders, on or about December 17, 2015. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
