29 CFR 1926.95(a): Personal protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, was not provided, used, or maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition it was necessary by reason of hazards of processes or environment, chemical hazards, radiological hazards, or mechanical irritants encountered in a manner capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through absorption, inhalation, or physical contact.    a) On or about December 2, 2015, Sereno's Insulation and Supply Co. did not ensure that employees using Thermoseal A Side and Thermoseal 500B wore appropriate chemical resistant gloves when performing spraying operations using two part Thermoseal.  Thermoseal A Side contains diisocyanates, which are a skin sensitizer.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
