Jobsite - The employer did not develop, implement, and maintain a written hazard communication program where employees are exposed to chemicals such as, but not limited to fiber wool, etc. contained in fiber glass insulation, ethyltriacetoxysilane, methyltriacetoxysilane, etc. contained in Boss 380 Contractors Silicone Seal during the application fiberglass insulation to pipes. Condition noted on or about December 17, 2015.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a. Jobsite - Employees were not provided training on the hazards of chemicals in their work areas. Employees are exposed to chemicals, including but not limited to fiber wool, etc. contained in fiber glass insulation, ethyltriacetoxysilane, methyltriacetoxysilane, etc. contained in Boss 380 Contractors Silicone Seal during the application of fiberglass insulation to pipes.
