29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips, and sparks:    a/  Inside of the Maintenance Shop, the nine stock holders belonging to the Cincinnati Shear, m/n 1008, s/n NR31518, were unguarded.  The height of these stock holders above the table was approximately three-eights of an inch.    b/  Inside of the Maintenance Shop, the JET Belt Sander/Disc Grinder, m/n JSG-6DC, s/n 708599, was unguarded.  The belt sander measured approximately 6"W X 13"H.  The diameter of the disc was approximately 12 inches.
