29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Note: A suitable eye wash must meet the minimum criteria as defined by ANSI/ISEA Z358.1. a) U.S. Postal Service, Lafayette Post Office Norfolk: On or about 12/28/2015, a corrosive product, Clorox Commercial Solutions Germicidal Bleach was used routinely for cleaning restrooms. A suitable eye wash capable of supplying 15 minutes of continuous flow was not provided, thus exposed an employee to possible burns. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
