29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5): Enclosed workplaces were not so constructed, equipped, and maintained as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, or other vermin:  (a) Date of Violation: On or about 12-29-2015 and times prior thereto located at Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Petersburg, Low Institution Facility; 1060 River Road Hopewell, VA 23860, in the Food Service Galley dry storage areas, employees were exposed to the presence of cockroaches and mice feces on the floor, walls, and stored food item boxes.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
