OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards associated with falling heavy equipment and/or materials stacked on storage racks that were not properly bolted to the floor: On or about December 18, 2015, near the machine shop; the employer allowed employees to operate forklifts and access walkways near storage racks with columns that were not secured to the floor with anchor bolts capable of resisting the forces caused by the horizontal and vertical loads on the racks.
