29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a) Breakpack, 100 Veterans Drive, Tobyhanna, PA - Employees engaged in operating the Cram-a-lot Horizontal Baler Model HX-72 (Serial No. BH641-01) were not afforded machine guarding at the pinch point between the baler door latch and baler door exposing the employees to amputation hazards, on or before December 30, 2015. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), abatement certification and documentation is required for this violation.
