29 CFR 1910.269(v)(10)(i): Smoking and other ignition sources were not prohibited near hydrogen or hydrogen sealing systems, and signs warning of the danger of explosion were not posted: a) Turbine building elevation 102: A power strip and extension cord used to power a purity meter that could have served as an ignition sources and were located next to the hydrogen control panel were not class I division II, on or about, 1/4/16 NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
