29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent:     a)  Debarking area:   On or about January 7th, 2016 an employee  was exposed to noise dose at levels of 93.9 % (equivalent to an 8 hour time weighted average TWA of 89.55 dBA) which is 1.878 times the action level of 50% (equivalent to an 8 hour TWA of 85 dBA) while working in the weld out area. Results were calculated for a 314 minute sampling period.     b)  Debarking area:   On or about January 7th, 2016 an employee was exposed to noise dose at levels of 75 % (equivalent to an 8 hour time weighted average TWA of 87.92 dBA) which is 1.5 times the action level of 50% (equivalent to an 8 hour TWA of 85 dBA) while working in the weld out and neck welding areas. Results were calculated for a 397 minute sampling period.
