29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. Located along various areas of the 6 in 12 steep sloped commercial roof deck structure employees observed without conventional fall protection performing roofing associated work activities on a roof with unprotected sides or edges who were not trained or knowledgeable of the procedures or regulations to minimize those hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Located along various areas of the 6 in 12 steep sloped commercial roof deck structure with unprotected sides or edges employees were observed performing tear off roofing work related activities without conventional fall protection and were exposed to fall potentials in excess of 9 feet. The Campos Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926. 501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 917207, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 15, 2013 with respect to a workplace located at 333 Delaware Dr., Maineville, OH 45039.
