(a) On January 6, 2016, at North Kansas City Iron & Metal, employees were exposed to fire and electric shock hazards, in that the employer failed provide at least one entrance of sufficient area giving access to the working space about the electrical panel located next to the entrance of the metal processing shed. (b) On January 6, 2016, at North Kansas City Iron & Metal, employees were exposed to fire and electric shock hazards, in that the employer failed provide at least one entrance of sufficient area giving access to the working space about the electrical panels located next to the entrance of the "new steel shed." North Kansas City Iron and Metal was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315536169, citation number 1, item number 6 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/21/11, with respect to a workplace located at 1222 Iron Street, North Kansas City, MO 64116.
