OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. On 1/4/2016, employees and subcontracted employees at the Shady Dale facility, were exposed to collapse and fall hazards as the employer did not ensure dock platforms would support the load it was expected to support.

OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. On 1/4/16, at the Shady Dale, Ga facility, employees and subcontracted employees were exposed to collapse and fall hazards as dock platforms in use had the following deficiencies: 1 - Ramps used at the dock were not equipped with guardrails exposing employees to 10 ft falls 2 - Dock platforms were not equipped with guardrails exposing employees to 10 ft falls 3 - Stairs leading to the dock platform were missing 4 - Stairs were equipped with a single upper rail only and were not equipped with a intermediate guardrail
