29 CFR 1926.28(a): The employer did not require the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment in all operations where there is an exposure to hazardous conditions. (a) 1350 NW 4th Street, Meridian, Idaho: On or about January 14, 2016, employees involved in a variety of framing activities on a multi-level roof structure were exposed to overhead hazards. (b) 1350 NW 4th Street, Meridian, Idaho: On or about January 14, 2016, an employees involved in framing activities were not utilizing protective eye protection when observed utilizing a pneumatic nail gun. Note: Abatement certification IS required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) New construction: 1350 NW 4th Street, Meridian, Idaho: On or about January 14, 2016, employees observed in a variety of framing activities on this multi story residential townhouse without using any means of fall protection and exposed to fall hazards ranging up to 22 feet. Abatement certification and documentation ARE required for this item. JB's Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1044868, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 16, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 912, 1208 E. Radiant Ridge Drive, Meridian, Idaho.
