29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: A) At the noodle manufacturing plant where the conveyors of the dough rollers (kneaders) were not protected and employees were exposed to caught in hazards. An employee was injured while cleaning one of them on or about 01/06/2016. B) At the dough mixing area, employees were exposed to caught-in and struck-by hazards by the mixing blades that remain in motion while operating the equipment in the manual mode as observed on or 01/15/2016.
