29 CFR 1910.159(c)(10): Sprinkler spacing. The minimum vertical clearance between sprinklers and material below shall be 18 inches (45.7 cm).  (a) Coronado NF-Santa Catalina RD, Warehouse: On or about January 12, 2016, and at times prior thereto, a sprinkler head located above shelving had a vertical clearance distance of 10 inches. The sprinkler head was located next to the solid flammable storage cabinet and the shelving interfered with the sprinkler head discharge pattern.

The U.S. Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1061717, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 17, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at Stanislaus NF, Groveland RD, Groveland, CA.

(c) Coronado NF-Santa Catalina RD, Bldg. 1: On or about January 12, 2016 a relocatable power tap (RPT) was used to power a Magic Chef refrigerator.  (d) Coronado NF-Santa Catalina RD, Visitor's Center: On or about January 12, 2016 a Belkin relocatable power tap (RPT) was used to power a Krups toaster and Mr. Coffee coffee maker.  (e) Coronado NF-Santa Catalina RD, Fire Engine Office: On or about January 12, 2016 a relocatable power tap (RPT) was used to power a Kenmore air conditioner.
