(b) Coronado NF-Douglas RD, warehouse/engine bay: On or about January 14, 2016, an acetylene gas cylinders in storage did not have a protective cap in place.

29 CFR 1910.106(d)(2)(i): Approved container(s) or portable tank(s) were not used for the storage of flammable or combustible liquids:  (a) Coronado NF-Douglas RD, warehouse/Range Management: On or about January 14, 2016, gasoline was stored in unapproved two-compartment fuel/oil (dolmar-style) propylene containers. The standard specification of this container (ANSI/ASTM D-3435-80) was not a recognized test standard under the Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) Program.    The U.S. Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1061629, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 20, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at Prescott NF, Willow Administration Site, Prescott AZ.

(b) Coronado NF-Douglas RD, warehouse/engine bay: On or about January 14, 2016, the distance between the periphery of the abrasive wheel and the tongue guard on the Ace 6-inch bench grinder was approximately 3/4 of an inch.   The U.S. Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 982195, citation number 2, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on December 19, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at Angeles NF, Valyermo Hot Shots, Valyermo, CA.
