Violation occurred on or about 1/20/16.

29 CFR 1910.1450(f)(1): The employer did not provide laboratory employees with information and training to ensure that they were apprised of the hazards of chemicals present in their work area: a) Establishment Employees performing research and development operations with laboratory quantities of hazardous chemicals to include but not limited to hydrochloric acid, liquid nitrogen and 2-propanol were not trained on the hazards of the chemicals they work with. The employer provided only informal information on personal protective equipment and chemical safety. Violation occurred on or about 1/20/16.
