29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) On or about January 21, 2016 at 830 US Hwy 98, Daphne, Al: The employer failed to ensure employees engaged in installing shingles on a new residential unit wore fall protection which exposed them to falls of over 31 feet.   b) On or about January 21, 2016 at 830 US Hwy 98, Daphne, Al: The employer failed to ensure an employee engaged in installing shingles on a new residential unit where properly tied off in that one employee ran his rope through the center D-ring of his harness and tied it in a knot which exposed him to falls of over 31 feet.   c) On or about January 21, 2016 at 830 US Hwy 98, Daphne, Al: The employer failed to ensure an employee engaged in installing shingles on a new residential unit wore proper fall protection in that one employee wore a safety belt which exposed them to falls of over 31 feet.
